So my son is a burgeoning chef and I couldn't be happier about that. The other day he experimented again and the results were absofreakinglutely amazeballs.
Ingredients
about 1.5 lbs ground beef
3 Tbs. Carne Asada seasoning
1 Tbs. Dale's Seasoning
Half a box Bowties pasta, prepared
1 box of Rice-a-roni: Spanish Rice
Prepare pasta in a large stockpot. Meanwhile, brown beef in skillet until very little pink is left. Drain grease. Add Carne Asada and Dale's Seasoning. Finish browning.
Drain and rinse pasta, returning it to the stockpot. Drain beef and add it to stockpot.
Prepare Spanish Rice in the skillet according to instructions. No need to clean in between beef and rice. It adds additional flavor to the rice. When done, add to stockpot and mix together.
Dine!
Oh good Lord Almighty it was good! I can't wait for him to make it again. And to think you only use two pans and two cooking utensils, two measuring spoons and a liquid measuring cup. Hot diggity dog. I wish I'd taken a picture.
